She has taught Dance Movement Therapy at BoฤŸaziรงi University in Istanbul for over 15 years, helping students explore self-expression and resilience through movement. She has reported across Turkey, Central Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, covering politics, economics, and global events, and produced over a dozen human-interest documentaries. Michal is also the founder of the โ€œiamchildproject,โ€ delivering movement workshops to Syrian refugee children in Turkey. Her debut book, Becoming a Peacock, blends personal stories, insights, and encouragement into a guide to self-worth.
